One year on! April 2006 saw the launch of this website alongside a printed directory to enable referrals to appropriate organisations. The response has been very encouraging with almost all the first print run of 1000 copies having been distributed and further copies requested. In the meantime any additions or amendments to the information are being inserted in the on-line directory to ensure information is as up to date as possible. We hope that the information contained in our directory will be useful to all those who need information to support people who are bereaved or refer them to appropriate agencies. If there are changes or additions that need to be made, please contact us via the email contact on info@bbn.org.uk, as we are anxious to maintain an up to date and useful resource.

  

Bradford Bereavement Network was established in 2004 by a group of professionals interested in providing a forum for support, an information resource and an exchange for sharing of good practice for those working with bereaved individuals and families. The initial work carried out has resulted in the production of a Bereavement Directory which will be sent out during 2006 to Health care professionals, Advice centres, Libraries and others involved in the support of bereaved people. The first phase of development of this website has been the creation of an online database of the information contained in the Directory, which will be updated as changes occur. It is hoped to further develop the website to include other useful resources and a forum for exchange of information and good practice.
