Support offered:  Starting Point - an information and advice service for older people on a wide range of matters available on the telephone (including Saturday mornings), or by dropping in to our centres in Bradford and Keighley (times below), and by online access to a searchable database of activities and services.
SIGNPOSTING—helping you contact or make appointments for services such as—e.g. Victim Support, Bradford Bereavement Support, Housing, Council Tax and other Benefits Advice, Pensions Service, Bradford Council’s Adult Services, local Health and well-being projects, Energy use and efficiency. EVENTS & ACTIVITIES and leisure opportunities in your area. Including IT lessons, art classes, local clubs and outings. SERVICES from Age Concern such as Traders Register, Annual Spring Clean, Handypersons Service, Solicitor’s advice, and those of other charities and organizations such as Disability Advice, Befriending Schemes, Tax Help for Older People, Debt Counselling.
