The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is a nationwide organisation of bereaved parents and their families offering understanding, support and encouragement after the death of a child or children. Help is offered to any parent whose son or daughter has died, at any age and from any cause and is extended to siblings and grandparents. Support is offered through a daily daytime and evening Helpline, group support meetings, one-to-one visiting, telephone and/or letter contact, a range of publications and leaflets, a postal library, retreats, national gathering and website.
